Vision

“Europe is the oldest continent on Earth and the one that has influenced the most all the others. The European countries, through the European Union (EU) have managed to establish a political and economical partnership, which has proved to be very beneficial to them.
EUropaS 2015 is a simulation that provides the University students with the opportunity to work as if they were actual representatives to the EU’s institutions and other bodies and thus gain valuable experience and knowledge, vital for their further studies and work.”

“As we all know Europe consists of many different states with different beliefs, languages and views on many facts. Despite the strong diversity in Europe, all these European states make the European Union, a strong Union that was built with the “stones” of equality, unity and willingness. In the EU all member states have equal rights and express their point of view upon all the matters. So EU brings together all the member states and the European citizens under one common highway and in one voice. The member states focus not on the differences that they may have but on their same interests and their strong relation that was made passing through the years. The European diversity can benefit the EU to the fullest, and more integration should be welcome. Already the integration includes domains as the economy, energy, free movement of people, goods, capital, workers and services. To conclude with, EUropaS can help all the participants learn how the EU Constitution work and take decisions about the future of the Union that affect the whole world .We will have the opportunity to express our opinions about the most important European issues nowadays. EUropaS will be a great experience for all of us and a great chance to meet new people and share ideas, cultures and interests .As a journalist in EUropaS I am looking forward to write my own articles about the issues which will be discussed during all the fruitful debates in the committees and welcome all the participants to a great four-days conference that will absolutely be unforgettable.”

It is known that EU nowadays faces some crucial problems and difficulties in sectors such as social service, politics and mostly the economy. In the near future I would like to see the EU’s governments and institutions deal with these problems and contribute to the initial vision that “EU’s fathers” had, which is the countries of Europe to come closer, to provide aid one another and mostly to make true the vision of a developed Europe in economy, culture, education etc.

The truth is that as far as Europe is concerned I would like to imagine it as a big, united nation where everyone will be equal and privileged. When it comes to EUropaS2015 I think of it as my opportunity to become what I have always wanted, even if it will last only for a few days, a journalist. I hope it will be a profitable experience for me and will help me to discover hidden aspects of myself.

We could all agree that a strong and united Europe is needed to avoid the threat of destruction EU faces nowadays. But, in order to save something, we first need to appreciate its value. EUropaS2015 is a unique experience through which we can all learn about the EU function in a more fun and entertaining way, as, for three days, we are the leaders of Europe.

Regarding the current situation I believe that Europe is still “under construction”. Furthermore, not only the recession that has affected the whole Union, but also the political crisis that is going on are two of the subjects which we -as journalists- have to comment with accurate and objectively. Europa.S is a great opportunity for everyone who is interested in European matters.
Let the game begin!

As a citizen of Europe, I believe not in a mere alliance of the European countries that promotes only the interests of the countries but more importantly in a union that supports multiculturalism and mutual respect towards each country’s weaknesses. Furthermore, Europe for me is the field of equal opportunities, freedom of expression that does not impede productivity but enhances effectiveness. Through Europa, the youth of Europe has the opportunity to cooperate and exchange views on matters of vital importance and come to conclusions that could provide further impetus for the European Union.
