ECOFIN ministers have just been briefed of a major crisis. FOX news indicate bribing of an EU Commissioner by the American Secretary of the US Treasury, in order to promote American interests in the continuing negotiations for TTIP. According to the media organization, a secret meeting was held in Camp Davis where the two men discussed in full secrecy. Both the US and the EU deny these allegations of corruption. ECOFIN is currently in full session on the matter.
Update: The Vice-President is now accused of corruption and bribery as he is now considered the EU official to have met with the US Treasury official. Calls for the Vice-President to testify have started to appear.
