GUE Elections

Ms. Liaropoulou is the one elected from the board. As she said she is very pleased from the result and the confidence showed in her face. The climate of cooperation and the edifying dialogue promoted the advocacy of human rights and the general concern that will be discussed later on. Each Committee has to draft down it’s Common Policy guidelines. After 30′ minutes, time has flown away and USB sticks are handed down to the President Ms. Papanikolaou. MEPs attend their seats and it’s the moment to discuss what they have done so far. Equality among students with learning disabilities or not, general educational conditions involved, America’s first policy awareness and concerns, climate deterioration, violation of human rights are some of the topics covered during this session. Now the participant countries (Cyprus, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Greece) vote for the common policy guidelines concerning the following Committees AFET, ITRE, TRAN, CULT declaring if they are in favor or against. The President congratulated all the participants and has wished the best to all! So, Congratulations Ms Liaropoulou!
